GooT does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data, browsing history, usage analytics, or clipboard contents. All actions (keyboard shortcuts, pasting, UI enhancements) run entirely in your browser.

2. Permissions

The extension uses limited permissions such as:

storage: to save your local preferences (e.g., opacity or cursor setting)
clipboardRead: to read clipboard only when you explicitly paste
scripting / tabs: to insert code only on translate.google.com

These are required solely for enhancing the Google Translate interface and do not interact with other sites.

3. No External Requests

GooT does not send data to any server or use analytics, advertising, or trackers of any kind. There are no background scripts monitoring activity.

4. Security

Because GooT is a front-end-only tool with no server communication, your data stays entirely on your device.
