Using Zhong PWA
Zhong PWA (Progressive Web Application) is tool for learning Chinese & intended for mobile phone user. This is adaptation of Desktop Chrome/Firefox Browser Extension “Zhongwen: Chinese-English Dictionary”. This works well on Android/iOS phone using mouse USB-OTG(On The Go). You can hover every Chinese character for detail English translation like you do with Zhongwen.

How to use
- Fill textbox with any site url. Example of recommended Mandarin website:

- The source is similar to (with adaptation): Chrome Extension “Zhongwen: Chinese-English Dictionary”, only this works on Android/iOS phone where web extension only available on desktop.
- If you hover every mandarin text with mouse, it will showing English translation in pop-up window.
- For Desktop environment (Chrome/Firefox Web Browser), it’s better using original tools named Zhongwen.
- You may install this PWA to your smartphone home-screen:
- Chrome browser: by clicking top-right three-dot-menu, then choose “Add to Home screen”.
- Firefox browser: by clicking top-right three-dot-menu, then choose “Install”.
- iOS Safari: by clicking share icon, then choose “Add to Home Screen”.

- Dealing with OTG mouse, in some cases if found I have to re-plug-in when mouse-hovering not working. Furthermore, I need to re-open Chrome browser/Zhong PWA for further action.
